Mystic Connecticut town walk-around and real estate tour with A Realtor Tour Matt DeLucia Sotheby's
Thursday, July 23, 2026
If you've ever dreamed about living in a town where the scenery is like out of a postcard, where the seafood is so fresh it introduces itself, where strangers just randomly say hello to you when you're walking on the street, well, Mystic Connecticut might be the town for you.
While many towns claim to offer high quality of life, Mystic actually delivers.
In this video, I'll be showing you around town, show you some highlights of Mystic, and we'll also be viewing some recently closed houses so you can see some different price points, what you can buy here in town. All right, let's go.
While Mystic is synonymous with seafood, most tourists and home buyers come to Mystic because they were obsessed with the movie Mystic Pizza. They come for the pizza and stay for the scenery and the shopping. The town sits along Mystic River and the waterfront views are so beautiful that visitors often find themselves staring out over the river pretending to be deep thinkers when they're actually wondering if they could afford to live here.
In addition to attractions like the Mystic Seapport Museum, Mystic is also home to the famous Mystic Aquarium where visitors can observe beluga whales, sea lions, and penguins.
Mystic River's famous Bescule Bridge is a historic 1922 drawbridge that operates like clockwork at 40 minutes past the hour for most of the day.
Old Mystic Village is a charming open air shopping and dining destination designed to resemble a colonial New England village and features over 40 unique shops. Perhaps the most compelling reason to move to Mystic is that people genuinely seem happy here.
The combination of natural beauty, community spirit, excellent amenities, and coastal charm creates an environment where residents can thrive. So, that's it from Mystic. I hope you enjoyed the video.
